The OFFA team
The OFFA team consists of a part-time director and six staff. Contact us.
Director – Sir Martin Harris
Sir Martin is the first Director of Fair Access. In 2007 he was reappointed for a further three years until October 2010. This has since been extended. Previously Sir Martin was Vice-Chancellor at the University of Manchester.

Assistant Director – David Barrett
David is responsible for managing OFFA on a day-to-day basis, overseeing all aspects of its work. He reports to and assists the Director, advising on strategy and liaising on a day to day basis with BIS (the Department for Business, Innovation, and Skills).

Programme Manager – Chris Scrase
Chris manages OFFA’s core operations and policy processes, such as producing guidance, submitting and revising access agreements and the annual monitoring process. He also leads on OFFA’s plans for research and good practice.

Communications Manager – Zita Adamson
Zita manages all communications activities for OFFA, handling media inquiries, writing/editing press releases and publications, and managing content on our website.
Policy Advisers
Our three Policy Advisers are Ben Spratt, Jess Coleman and Richard Shiner.
