Supporting the success and retention of students through digital learning solutions
We have been keen to work with partners to better understand how universities can support students from a range of backgrounds, within an evermore digitised student learning environment. We provided advice and guidance to Kortext, who have been working with the University of Worcester, University of Plymouth and Middlesex University in interrogating the use of core e-textbooks to create an enhanced student learning experience and powerful reading analytics that can identify intervention points to support student success, inclusively across whole student cohorts.
The initial results appear to lay a foundation for how reading analytics could enhance learning analytics data at universities.
We look forward to the next phase of this project as it progresses, so as to openly share our enhanced understandings of how OFFA can encourage best practice across the sector working with evidence from some of these innovative institutions.
